Growing up around the beauty industry all her life, Cla’s journey began when she relocated from Seoul, Korea and moved to Hawaii to pursue her passion in cosmetology. This brought her to the School of Paul Mitchell. With 10+ years of experience, she is always striving to train her assistants and hair stylists to be perfect. She also continues to learn and apply new techniques on numerous clients and models. She is fluent in Korean and English.

크라는 한국어와 영어, 이중언어를 유창하게 구사하여 고객들의 섬세한 요구에도 만족을 줄수 있는 헤어디자이너의 자질을 갖추고있습니다.

Since her teenage years, Vanessa has had an affinity for all things pertaining to fashion and beauty. Her goal was to look and feel beautiful while remaining true to herself. Vanessa has taken that belief, along with her bubbly personality, and turned her passion into career. Vanessa was educated at the Paul Mitchell Beauty School, where she graduated top of her class!

If you have the chance to sit in Vanessa’s chair, you’ll not only get an amazing and memorable experience, but you’ll more than likely leave the hair salon with her as a friend! She has one interest at heart: to make her clients feel as beautiful as they were intended to be.

Senior Stylist

Born and raised in Honolulu, Melody graduated from McKinley High School. She attended Honolulu Community College where she earned her degree in Cosmetology. She is a kind and hardworking individual who always puts others before herself. She enjoys the satisfaction her clients have when they leave her chair.

Senior Stylist

Originally from Nashville, TN, Kathleen recently made the move to Oahu and couldn’t be more excited to bring her passion for hair here. She specializes in long layers, dimensional color, and IBE extensions. Kathleen’s top priority is making her clients feel confident, comfortable, and completely at ease in her chair.

When she’s not behind the chair, you can find her lifting weights, hiking, or exploring new restaurants around the island. She would love to have you in her chair and help you love your hair even more!

Junior Stylist/Assistant Manager

Momo was born and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. She started her professional hair journey at Paul Mitchell School in 2021, intending to pursue a career that’ll bring others joy. She loves to work with the hair's natural state and find creative ways to enhance what people feel are their best features. As a newbie in the industry, she aspires to become a specialist in texture and cutting.

In her free time, she loves to create plant arrangements. She likes the long-term challenges of nurturing plants, even hand-building ceramic pots to complement their appearance. Momo also enjoys crochet. Similar to working with hair, it involves intentional movement and looking at the bigger picture, trying to see what forms, textures, and colors make the most sense.

Junior Stylist

Leslie spent two years in cosmetology school where she worked on clients three days out of the week, and graduated in 2024. She has experience in color formulation, hair lightening, cold wave perming, hair cutting (very good with layers), and clipper cuts!

After graduating school, she spent time assisting under a hair and makeup artist in theater, but realized how much she wanted to experience working in a hair salon. Leslie is very eager to learn, and excited to be a part of the team at Salon By Yoo!

Independent Stylist

Alyssa was born and raised on the island of Oahu. In 2018, she graduated from Paul Mitchell. Thereafter, she continued her hair stylist journey and became an assistant then hairstylist at a notable Japanese salon until 2021.

Alyssa enjoys the consultation process with her clients, since she loves to learn about her client’s goals for their hair as well as letting them know what outcome they may expect given the appointment time, lifestyle, as well as the hair texture/canvas.

She loves all services but her specialties include bleaching and perm services. Alyssa is always eager to learn and experience the vast world of hairstyling.
